Dr. Ritchie has been in practice for 20 years. Ever since he was in his teens he recognized the effectiveness of Chiropractic and knew it was the profession for him. He practices with a variety of techniques including Diversified, Thompson, ART, Activator, and Functional Neurology. His education was from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, and undergraduate studies from the University of Calgary.
Along with a Doctorate in Chiropractic, he also has a Bachelor of Science degree and is a Diplomate in Functional Neurology (DACNB). He continues to enrich his education to supplement his clinic practice experience every year, as all Chiropractors are required, with a variety of courses. With the continued education, this helps him provide to the patient the most effective care for their specific circumstance.
Dr. Ritchie spends the majority of his time with his beautiful wife, Lisa, and two boys, Liam and Logan. He also enjoys playing hockey, golf and reading.
Dr. Klut grew up in Hinton, Alberta. It was here in the mountains and on the lakes where her passion for health emerged. She let her passion guide her education with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta, and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from the University of Western States, in Portland, Oregon.
Whether it is injury rehabilitation, pursing wellness care, or an athletic goal, Dr. Karyn has just the right blend of knowledge, experience and optimism to make the journey fun and easy.
This Hinton based Chiropractor's philosophy is to optimize health by increasing functionality within the body. Although pain is what most of us associate with something being wrong with the body, it is often not the first indicator that something is not right. Breathing problems, lower energy levels, muscular spasms, tightness and fatigue can all be the precursors to actual pain and can indicate an abnormal movement pattern and a poorly functioning body.
Dr. Klut uses an evidence-based approach that goes beyond helping people out of pain and looks at the whole person. She incorporates gentle spinal manipulation, ART, Kinesiotape, nutritional guidance, functional rehabilitation exercises and lifestyle counseling to empower patients to make changes that will impact their future wellness.
As a new addition to the clinic she has been able to relieve the pressure on the clinic with walk-in patients and has been a licensed Chiropractor since February 2011.
